I had a lovely day today after finishing 2 night shifts.
My mum came to visit at lunchtime and we went off to a little country show in a nearby village. There were dogs galore, a brass band, lots of cakes and produce and even a flypast from a Hurricane plane. This little chap had won 3rd prize for the waggiest tail contest and looked very pleased with himself.
In the evening we met up with my sister and partner to see a smasing play at Lichfield Garrick and to round off the evening we joined some of the neighbours on the village green were they'd had an impromput party. :-)
