100 years of solitude
That was the theme today for the 100 Days of Summer challenge and it was a tough one! Especially since we went to a birthday party today and there wasn't a lot of solitude to be found. We saw these poppies on the side of the road on the way back home, though and remembered a little fact about them from 'Springwatch.' Their seeds can lay dormant for up to 100 years waiting for the right time to put down roots and grow so I thought this lovely lone flower would make a good subject for the day.
We had a lovely time at the party, happy birthday Willow and Rowan! Hope you had a great day!
