A Fork in the Road

A found item, carelessly discarded on the road outside the gym.
Was it a fish supper better eaten with the fingers that left this fork surplus to requirements, or was it dropped by accident as the owner juggled with a polystyrene container of curry and other plastic implements on their way home?

With no other signs of food wrapping in the vicinity, I wonder if it fell to ground as the night attendants at the 24/7 gym carried home a midnight feast to while away the midnight hours.

Ours to guess at, but in a busy but blipless morning of socialising for me, I am more than happy to take this fork in the road, continue that way and put it to use- it looks clean enough.
