Scheduled Monument
Day 529 - day van trippin to Stanton Moor - a Bronze Age scheduled monument oop the Peaks.
Cork stone obviously doesn't need that much protection given the climbers handles, but the rest is pretty much as it would have been thousands of years ago.
This photo was taken before we saw a dead sheep, some Bez dancing on top of another huge rock, before laughing hysterically as big dude helped me get down from it (otherwise I would still be up there), counted the Nine Ladies stone circle, and were passed by a band of DoE youngsters singing in unison Queen's Don't Stop Me Now to keep them keeping on.
Our plans for a sunset van BBQ oop the a Roaches got rained off in the end, but was still a good old summers day.
