Victorian parade

Today was the first performance of Worthing's Victorian community play. It went really well..everyone pulled together and gave their best effort to date.

Afterwards there followed a parade to the seafront to promenade and have a picnic.
I snapped a shot of the use of that most essential Victorian item..the mobile phone!

Later we walked the full length of the front, in full costume, in the blazing sun, to have a bbq with friends. Luckily a change of clothing awaited us at our destination!
