Sunday night

On the left, two of my favourite machine-things - the breadmaker busy making buns for lunch tomorrow and for homemade chicken burgers planned for tomorrow night. On the right the slow cooker busy cooking what you see in the right hand photo - a lamb curry.

Lesson: kumara should be cooked well and truly before adding to a dish, it was not soft and floury as anticipated! But the rest of it sure tasted good! I made the sauce by grinding up chillis, almonds, cumin seeds, garlic etc. Dave made the chapati by hand as previously demonstrated.
