Final touches

This is a painting by our friend Ben Holding. We have got around to hanging pictures on our walls. It's a pity Ben is moving to Calgary as he is an all round handyman. In the past he's painted our house, tiled, wallpapered, fixed drywall and put up shelves. (I'm probably forgetting something else). We could use his talents now.

It's interesting how different things help you feel more settled in a new place. For me the kitchen was important as was the tv & computer. For Sue it was getting the garden planted and the family photos and memorabilia. What would it be for you?
