Water lily

I had a domestic catching up day today, then did some gardening, went to a neighbour for a cup of tea,saw a woodpecker, and although I got some shots, he was moving so fast it was difficult to get a really good shot. So as I was leaving I took this photo of the water lily on the pond.
After that some friends came round for a couple of hours and we have just skyped our daughter, son in law and 4 week old grandson in New Zealand. It is amazing how fast he's growing, only 3 weeks and I will be there....!!
