Crombie Country Park

After a morning of Harry Potter, loom banding, playing on the ipad(s), roaming around the garden and eating granny's pancakes we headed to Cronbie Country Park for the afternoon.

The older boys cycled round the 2.5km route round the lake twice while the rest of us wandered around, stopping under the Giants (and amongst the midgies) for some picnic lunch. There was a fairly complicated game of tig played in the adventure playground entitled 'escape from Azkaban' which I only vaguely understood, but it was fun.

We got back home too late for a trip to the Dundee pool but since the Perth leisure pool stays open late on a Saturday, and since everyone seemed happy enough for an adventure we drove through and had a late night swim followed by an even later night meal at pizza express.
