Spent the whole day out with my girls; lovely bit of lunch and shopping. They are getting so grown up. It's lovely to be able to take them out and treat them to a few things when they are so well behaved; they definitely earned their them. And their idea of something special is new rubbers and pencils!!!

Got home, wrapped all the father's day presents and then a lovely BBQ. We were supposed to be going to a cocktail party together but Mr S's mum is still not up to having the girls stay over, so Mr S stayed at home so I could go out for a while. Didn't wear the dress I wanted to as I knew I was drinking and I didn't have the confidence to wear it whilst sober! Besides, I only stayed until 10pm so it would've been a waste of a dress and high heels (at least that's what I kept telling myself). It's never easy leaving a party early; especially as it was a cocktail party (my favourite), but Mr S is still not feeling 100% and I feared he would be in bed and the girls would still be up. Well I was nearly right. He was watching the football and the girls were still awake upstairs playing games. Oh well, I'm home now so order has been restored!!!
