Orchids Galore

It's been a while since I walked on the headland locally, the area is cut for silage and there seems to be less wild flowers and more vigorous grasses this year but at the edges where the field meets the coastal rocks the orchids are thriving in a very narrow margin.
Friends are exhibiting their work in Bantry, photographs and paintings, tonight was the gallery opening night, a sociable evening, I wish them well with this new venture.
