Super Saturday
Just too many blips to choose from today - a nice position to be in.
A morning in Edinburgh, where I wandered down to the Scottish Parliament to see the Commonwealth Games Queen's Baton Relay handover. What a wonderful thing - so emotional seeing these fab people carrying the baton.
I'm fortunate to know a significant number of amazing young people who have been nominated and selected to carry it during its tour of Scotland over the next 39 days - so it was also an exciting day on social media watching today's chosen ones & their excitement!
At the Parliament we were entertained by Singing4Fun with Parkinson's Edinburgh and the Edinburgh Gaelic Choir - who were just wonderful & deserve a special mention.
Then to Glasgow to see the awesome Pierces - sisters Katherine & Alison from Alabama who together just produce perfect melodies and heartbreakingly lush lyrics.
So good - and Katherine in particular is just mesmerising on stage - such presence. One of those performers you simply cannot drag your eyes away from. Sublime.
