Damp

It's been a very damp day today, with all the grass, plants and cobwebs covered in water droplets. The photograph was taken out of my living room window whilst I stayed dry inside this afternoon. It was very difficult to get in focus, especially through the window, and I think I've over sharpened it a bit in the post processing, but that's the best it gets for today.

Earlier in the day I was at an interview at Macaulay College for their relief list of staff. Macaulay College provides people with additional social and educational needs with activities to develop work and social skills. They have a farm and the participants get involved with the everyday running of the place. My interview consisted of meeting everyone there along with the pigs, goats, chickens, turkeys, ducks and guinea pigs, seeing the polytunnels and workshop, then joining everyone at their tea break for a nice chat. It was brilliant. I can see myself being very happy working there. They've put me on the relief list, so hopefully I will get some hours soon, and it could lead to something more regular. I really wanted to take photos whilst I was there, but thought that might not be appropriate during an interview ;)
