There were a few surprises today, mostly about somebody's plans and requests that had remained hidden until the last minute.

I ended up going to fetch Ben from his friend's house way above the Port in the late afternoon, but in doing so found another new friend in A's mother. We spent a long time chatting and making ourselves late for other things.

Finally at Emma and Tommy's (thank you lovely people!), the boys had more swimming and I talked nonsense to a lot of unsuspecting folks. Sorry everyone, I think I have finally gone Valley mad. Hurray!
