Between the cracks

Where darkness is deep,
Light still slips between the cracks,
To paint in abstract.

.... beneath the decking where the ground slopes away, is a shady hiding place to which Sadie retreats when it's too hot. Looking under there for her I noticed these patterns made by the sunlight pressing itself through the gaps.....

... after yesterdays gloom... feeling a bit brighter today ... it's amazing what a 4 hour bellydance workshop and then putting pink highlights in your hair can do for your mood .... although my legs are now aching so may fall asleep on the sofa ....
