How to be wild
"We are wild. It's just that civilisation keeps getting in the way."
A quote from a 'new' book I'm enjoying - How to be wild by Simon Barnes (of How to be a bad birdwatcher fame). So after an afternoon tackling the wild up at the allotment, (and gathering a huge bag of strawberries) I settled down to watch the wildlife (and domesticated (rabbit) in the garden. Not long before I was rewarded by the arrival of juvenile bluetit (at least one has survived), nuthatch and mouse.
There's been a gap between blips due to computer problems and being knocked sideways by hayfever tablets. Back up and running on all fronts now.
