What a looooong day. Alarm set for 6:30am. Into work for 8am.
Lots of getting ready (attaching balloons to each other) and hanging around before the procession started. Although the bacon rolls that one of the girls mums brought over to us was hugely appreciated :)

Ever felt like a goldfish in a bowl? Well that's kinda like how it is to walk in a galaday. Good fun though because the young farmer float was in front of us and they had a million buckets of water. (Not to mention the kids running past with water guns)
And trying to dodge the horse poo's while looking over a bunch of balloons wasn't easy either.
I've never felt more terrified in my life!!

I started off with my hair all done, my make up on and my red lippy. By the time the walk was finished I resembled more of a drowned rat. And our berry titles that we had pinned to our backsides all fell off somewhere. The titles for example were 'Brilliant Basics, Nectar amongst a few others but I'm just glad I didn't have the 'taste the difference or the click and collect' pinned to my ass......... :)

A quick pop into 'Zest' where my pal Ems works for her to take a picture and to get ripped.......

Then somebody popped all my balloons while they were still attached to me and I'm sure my squeals could be heard all over.

After that it was off to the park to hand out the kids goody bags and oh but my wee feet are sore now. I don't think I've walked that far in years.

Oh, and we got 3rd prize :))
