Moorhen

Discovered another lovely walk on the edge of town. A meandering nature trail through lovely woods which were part of Tarvit estate. First spotted a male moorhen on the pond which seemed to be on a mission, then realised the reason as he was bringing food to this female and their chicks. Unfortunately couldn't get a pic of the feeding frenzy, but enjoyed watching the nest for quite some time. Flo was extremely quiet and didn't disturb them at all.
