Wow! What a day!

We went on our private wildlife tour of Yellowstone today and got to visit a side of the park we never would have seen. We met our guide and headed to North Yellowstone where we saw black bears with their cubs as well as bison and a rare duck which even our guide hadn't seen in the park before.

We had a lovely picnic next to the river before heading off on a hike up the side of a mountain and over to two beautiful lakes - one of which is my blip today. Breathtaking. Literally, with the high altitude it was a struggle getting up there, but we did it!

What is amazing to see is beautiful green fields below and snow capped mountains above.
