Give Us A Smile

I walk through Edinburgh almost everyday and for a long time (must be over a year) this poster has been displayed on the side of a lot of bus shelters.

Now normally I just glance at the title and the sad faces and walk on by. I know it's to raise awareness of the serious disease which effects facial muscles but I knew nothing more than that.

Well now that I'm blipping I seem to be looking for topics post.

So I took 2 minutes to and read the poster. The disease is called Myasthenia Gravis or MG for short. The bodies immune system starts to attack itself and causes a communication breakdown between nerves and muscles which can be fatal.
