Golden days

Today was one of those perfect summer days, with golden sunshine and just enough of a breeze to stop the heat becoming oppressive. The gardens at Oasis de Capistrano are at their peak and bees and butterflies are everywhere, buzzing and flitting from flower to flower. They have so much choice, I'm not sure they know where to settle!


(Apologies for yet another insect blip today - it wasn't planned! - but of all the shots I took of the gardens this afternoon, this was my favourite!)
