Oystercatcher Chick

The Oystercatchers are back. They come every year and nest on the graveled flat roof. They make quite a racket - I don't mind. It's quite funny though: once the chicks have hatched the students find them very cute - however, very soon and after constant beep, beep, beep they get rather annoyed. The chicks eventually wander around and fall off the roof and end up running around in front of my window. They get caught and put back on the roof until they are too big. I heard this year they are attempting to build an oystercatcher fence...

Anyway I picked one of the punk plants from yesterday and gave it the black velvet treatment as promised. I also converted it to black and white, which I think I prefer.
