The festival of international folk music and dance gathers together folk dancers and players from all over the world to Tampere this weekend. We went to see the opening ceremonies to keskustori after work.

In the picture Finnish ballet dancers are switching turns in stage with Polish folklore dancers. Ballerinas obviously aren't able to walk outdoors with their ballet shoes...
