Sub nets

Took the ferry this morning to a very misty Hoy, to visit the Scapa Flow Visitor Centre. The Centre chronicles in detail Scapa Flow's role as the Royal Navy base for the First and Second World Wars. Lots of interesting things in which to poke about, including these anti-submarine nets that were slung between the islands of the archipelago to keep U boats oot.
