A touch of pink

The colour of the sky this morning when I woke up after not enough sleep following a late night marking. A Purple Friday which involved more teaching than I have done any other day this week; being visited twice by the last round of parents and prospective students; watching Y7s 'race' their elastic band powered cars - not that some of them went very far! And then I managed to pack even more students into the warmest room in the department for the last lesson of the week. I think we were all glad to hear the bell at 3.15. I've got minimal amounts of work to do this weekend so plenty of time to get into the garden and watch the hydrangeas turn even more pink.
