The Backhand

The backhand is one of those underutilised hits in rounders that can be very effective for the batter and incredibly confusing and frustrating for the fielders. This is Captain Dave of the Independents perfectly demonstrating the shot, which was especially effective as half the left-handers (including me) had mostly managed to get themselves caught out on their first hits (props of course to Larissa and Zoë who thrashed the heck out of the ball all night!)
