Window cleaners

'Spider man' comes every six months and there is no other way to clean our windows. The visit itself brings upon great excitement. Oscar and Bailee see the abseiling rope and race around anticipating a glimpse of the man himself. Spiderman was a particularly cheery one today.... he gave a huge grin and waved at the trio..... it would be an awful job in this heat..... he sure made the trio's day.

I always love looking out our windows for the few weeks following the big clean.... by the time it nears the 6 month mark again, the windows are pretty mucky!

In the morning mum and I had the best ever French Toast across the road at Sophie's Cafe.....

It was a day of great food as Stu and I went out to Pai Thai at the Madinat for dinner. I love that restaurant. You catch a boat to it and the view over the water is so peaceful. The food is exceptional.... it is such a treat. I haven't had much of an appetite for quite some time but the prawn crackers filled the spot today..... I couldn't get enough!

Today was the first day I have not worn a head scarf. It is all looking good. The scar is healing well and my hair is growing in the bald patches. I have to say, Dubai has been a good place to wear a scarf....no-one bats an eyelid!
