Friday Flowers

As ever, we had a mad rush to get to school on time, but seemed to be there in loads of time in the end. Damp and dull day – but so warm. Went for a short walk after school drop off and got wet. Came home to do some housework – my least favourite way to spend a Friday morning – and there’s still loads to be done.

Did a bit of garden tidying after lunch and got wet. Fencing and swimming done. The sun has come out at last for a pleasant evening. To bake or not to bake – decisions, decisions.

Here’s some astrantia from the garden. They grow in a very inaccessible place and cannot be seen as they are hidden by a rampant lavender bush - which was a very small lavender bush when it was planted many years ago!
