Holker Hall.

We woke to heavy rain this morning, so we decided to visit Holker Hall. By the time we had toured the house and had coffee, the sun was out, and we were able to enjoy the magnificent grounds. This is a huge tree which was awarded the distinction of being one of Britain's 50 great trees in 2002, in honour of Her Majesty's Golden Jubilee. Its girth measures 7.9 metres.
