Gandria

Lunch in Gandria today, about four kilometres into Switzerland on the road to Lugano. A roughly similar distance from Lugano town. The photo is taken looking South, and most of the hillsides will be in Italy rather than Switzerland.

The restaurant is one we have been to several times before. The village is closed to traffic, and there are in fact no roads that could be used by a car, steep hills and steps mostly except for the paths running parallel to the cost.

Leaving the village, after lunch, I bought a clock for the apartment. Must stop buying things for the apartment soon. Stopped off in Menaggio for a beer before returning to the apartment via a quick visit to the supermarket.
