Rose of Sharon

While having coffee in the garden with my daughter this morning I notice that some of the flowers on our Rose of Sharon were open so I decided that this would be my blip for today; this is also known in some areas as St John’s Wort.

I did walk the short distance into the village this morning, but in general it has been a day of getting nowhere fast, partly because it was rather hot all day, not that I am complaining about the weather.
