Before the Bell

It's not often I'm at Bearsden Cross around 9 o'clock but a dental appointment found me heading for the post office . The scene I have captured is one enacted across the country as a lollipop man or woman stops the traffic for children and parents crossing a busy road. Bearsden almost lost its Primary School at the Cross last year with closure threatened for many months. So witnessing all the buzz and activity was a welcome sight.
