Poppy watch 4

A perfect morning. Sparklingly fresh and bright. Sunshine and clear warmth.

I went up to the farm shop for some more raspberries (800g for £1 today) as the jam was so nice last time. And on the way back I checked out the A5/M6 Toll poppyfield.

Stunning. Lots and lots more of them are now in full bloom and there are lines of red and rich individual flowers standing out from the field. I've tried to do it justice. It was a bit hazardous parking and crossing the road. But I so enjoyed it.

The madness has started at the other poppyfield. This morning there was a bike leaning against the gate and a chap with a huge camera standing up to his neck in the middle of the field. I hope he hasn't trampled too many.....
