Dancing Stamens

I was fascinated by this beautiful Clematis and the stamens which seemed to be dancing so gracefully. It reminded me of a scene from the Opening Event of the 2012 Olympics - ok, it may be stretching it a bit, but let your imagination go with the image.

I think I am discovering that photography is more than just taking photos - it can be about creating art - something which I never thought I had within me. It is a bit like discovering at 60 that I could write reasonable poetry. Maybe I will pursue both in the days to come!
