The last Rays

What a day, to Dunedin and back and my sister so struggling with no hope of recovery. Just felt like crying all the way home but had to concentrate. What a busy road with all the heavy traffic heading to Dunedin for the 2nd Rugby Test between NZ and England tomorrow night.

On the way down this morning it was bright and sunny after a frost so the countryside looked spectacular. The mountains all capped with snow after the week of bad weather, photographs everywhere you looked but no time to stop.
Coming home tonight kept thinking I have not got a blip and the traffic was crazy so what to do. Eventually shot down a side road and grabbed this shot just going on dark, then back in the traffic and home. Always a nice feeling to drive safely into the garage after a day like today and sit by ones own fireside.
