The fog has gone - game on! The race for the weekend recommences!

It takes a lot to get these aircraft in the air and to keep them going, hour after hour, day after day. We are lucky to have a great ground team of rampies as we call them - they clean the aircraft, get them in and out of the hangar, keep the interior clean and tidy and prepare the cabin for flight as well as handling refuelling, ground runs, maintenance and starts and stops.

Here's Dave (we call them all Dave, it avoids confusion) pushing my mighty steed into the hangar at the end of the day.

They do it in all weather - we sit imperiously in our warm cockpits while they scuttle around outside in the most dreadful of conditions attending to our aircraft's needs.

We couldn't do it without them, and yet they get very little credit.
