The bears are here

World Cup fever is finally setting in. It has been a good day - met people who made me smile, we had a choir meet with five choirs and some great singing, and put on a good spread for them afterwards. On the way home swung past the Fifa Fan Fest site and on to look at all the painted bears representing the different countries. There were so many people milling about on the beach road, mostly foreign fans, and such a party atmosphere, that we had to go down to the beach for a (very) late meal and to join in the party. Hadn't really intended to get to bed as late as 2 pm.
