Stones of memories

I love to collect stones. Most of these are from the Finnish archipelago. We used to have a summer cottage on a small island called Torstensholmen in the archipelago of Sipoo.

We often did trips with our boat to different islands. Usually I would pick up a couple of stones with me because I had a feeling they talked to me.

In Finland the the rocks are mostly different kinds of granite; grey or red, and the rock was formed very smooth during the ice age.

There are also a few stones collected from Gotland island in Sweden and some from the Greek archipelago.

I added a little shine to them with these pearls.
