Grrrr!

This scary looking critter is a banded mongoose. He's one of the many examples of weird and wonderful creatures to be to be found at the Horniman museum. I couldn't decide between this picture and one of a fruit bat - honestly the fruit bat is even scarier looking than the mongoose! I had a nice walk around the gardens before going in and having a look around the galleries - factor 50 at the ready now as I have well and truly learned my lesson.
