lakeland grey

we arrived in the lakes late. we missed a turning that didn't even exist and ended up on a very narrow, very snowy road. it looked dicey for a moment. we argued a bit. we spun the wheels as we inched up a icy hill. we avoided the little 4x4 that bounced down the lanes. and in the end we made it to our little cottage and got the fire on.

next day, still sleepy with post-christmas & mid-winterness, we went for a short stroll down past the church from the cottage. it was lovely. got several pictures of trees in the icy snows, but this one i liked best. it reminds me of my first blip!
