Watching the World Go By
We got a bit delayed today due to one of us, I'm not saying which but it wasn't me, leaving a rucksack on a bus. Spent several hours in Agen whose main claim to fame is that it's the prune production capital of France. It seems that not much else happens there. (Apart from the only two tourists of the year having a lost property on bus incident We got it back due to a brilliant bit of amateur sleuthery on the part of the driver and his mate whom he woke from a deep slumber to come and find us )
So we quickly moved on to Sarlat le Caneda which is beautiful.
We stopped to look around the beautiful hill town of Monflanquin. Spotted this elderly gentleman in a beret drinking his Pastis and watching the world go by.
