Walleye

We learned that the ice had been off Brownell Lake for less than a week when we arrived yesterday.

In that our group is the first on the lake this year we have the opportunity to experience its awakening beauty.

Our first day of fishing was blessed with minimal wind and partly cloudy skies.

The old familiar places on the lake produced excellent Walleye and Northern Pike as expected.

Three of the new guys in the expedition crew are really serious walleye tournament competitors.

I suspect they’ll teach me a lot.
