One more star in the sky .....

I stopped at Gunknowe Loch this afternoon and had a walk round with the camera. It wasn't long before I spotted Donald approaching with his mother but it took me a while to spot the ducklings who I eventually noticed sitting out of the water on the wee island in the middle. Unfortunately there are now only three, the fourth one must have succumbed to a predator, I hope these three manage to survive.

On a positive note, tomorrow's Friday so it's all good!

PS Mrs Coot is still sitting on the nest, no sign of chicks yet.
