Hoist the bridge!

The two bridge construction projects across the Pielisjoki river in Joensuu have progressed. The pedestrian bridge will have an opening ceremony on Monday with festivities from dawn to dusk. This bridge further up is obviously not quite ready yet. As you can see, the other end of the bridge looks almost finished, but part of it has been lifted up, presumably to let larger boats move through.
