Manesty woods in heavy rain

Sorry - Blip changed!

Today was forecast as becoming wet through the day, so we started in Manesty woods. After a couple of hours, the weather had turned seriously wet, but I did manage a few great pics in the rain, including this one. For the first time in ages, if not ever, I called a stop, and we returned to base for a couple of hours to dry out.

After lunch, we returned to Derwentwater and I got this shot of the clearing weather, helped by the big stopper.
