Arabella and Jacob

A fun day hanging out just the three of us.
We walked to the park this morning, collecting sticks and chatting to people along the way. Jacob refused his nap so we had some snacks when we got while making lunch.
This afternoon we painted fathers ( and grandfathers ) day cards. It went surprisingly well with Arabella asleep on the floor and Jacob being amazingly neat, then I woke Arabella up to paint her footprint and Jacob decided that was the best time to cover himself in paint!! A quick shower and the clean up didnt take too long.
We had a slow stroll to tesco with Henny and bought tony, the big issue man, some cookies to say thank you for keeping an eye on her while we shopped. He looked pretty glum when we went in so I hope they cheered him up.
Postman pat, magazine reading and dinner were all enjoyed before bath and bed. The two of them are getting quite good at going to bed at 7. I pre made dinner so a glass of wine and the final episode of suits is all ready - a very positive evening!
