Ken The 390 - Chase ft. Takuma The Great, Fork, Ish-One, Saiprasu Ueno

Today was one of those lazy days, thankfully made up for some extra cleaning, laundry and getting rid of things that I don't need. I'm a hoarder and for sentimental reasons; I hate to forget, it's a vice of mine. I used to hold on to a lot of things in the thinking of selling stuff in the future too. The fact is, that value is a relative term and can really suppress you when you least expect it. A lot of value is placed on certain status symbols such as cars and jobs for example. They're cool and very useful but ultimately their value is based on other people's expectations. It is only worth the value you subscribe to it. I threw things away that I didn't need today.

I rewarded myself with a trip to a local ramen shop to try something new. The ramen was made with the shop's own recipe with black sesame seeds. I ordered two servings of noodles because the soup was so good. I added a tonne of garlic and chilli oil to give it some extra zest. I was sweating by the end of the bowl. Such small expectations gave overwhelming rewards. Something new, something different and something worthwhile. The day was ended with a new caramel / cookie ice-cream from the convenience store. Small things but it put a smile on my face. Clearly I threw away my usual night's routine, amongst other things.

Shed some skin.
