Melt

Todays' picture is of some Little Hotties melting. My sister bought these for me for Christmas. It is great fun as you can build up your own smell out of different "flavoured" pieces.

Today's Bible verse is from Nahum, and this is a prophecy about God's anger against Ninevah. This describes the power of God, that the mountains will quake before Him. and the hills melt away. Our God is a powerful God, but He also shows mercy. Ninevah is of course the place where Jonah was sent and avoided and ended up going anyway thanks to a whale. When Jonah told the people of Ninevah what was going to happen they fasted and repented from their wicked ways, so God spared them showing mercy. He was quite entitled to strike them down as they had been disobedient, yet He chose not to. For this I am very grateful, as we would also deserve to be struck down. But don't forget that God is powerful, more than we could ever imagine...
