Restoration

I have been working as a volunteer for The Princes Regeneration Trust on their project to regenerate and revitalise the Middleport Pottery, in Middleport Stoke on Trent.

Middleport Pottery is a victorian grade 11 listed building and much of the site is original, so the restoration has been very sympathetic to keep the original character.

The work I have been helping with is cataloguing the collection of moulds and historical artefacts.

Today however I had my first training session in this restored room for one of the new volunteer roles as a Visitor Assistant. I am hoping to volunteer one day a week from July so will try and blip a different view of the site each week.
