Stanley

Meet Stanley.  He is a Harris's Antelope squirrel.  It is the first time I have ever seen a squirrel in my yard.  

As are most of the desert critters, he was lightning quick, starting and stopping on a dime.  Notice his coloring, too.  The color I like to call "desert brown (he's technically mostly grey w/some brown on sides)."   Adaptation at work. He's a little guy, too.  About 14 cm hunched over.

I do hope he returns to play or eat, as he is doing here, munching on the leftovers of the flowers fruit/"tuna"/seeds of my cactus.  There is plenty of food left over.
